Newspaper style flyer distributed as part of the performance. This project was a way of making ideas of the past, present and future of Vauxhall Cross Gyratory site of the Pleasure Gardens, through an ambitious event staged throughout a single day. Collaborating with composer Paul Whitty, who re-arranged music by Thomas Arne, classical singers performed at Vauxhall Cross and Tate Britain, utilising the traffic lights as cues. Our aim was to explore the relationship between political protest and entertainment, traffic and pedestrians, pollution and breathing and song.
