DVD of the original video by Anna Best and Paul Whitty, 2009. The ambitious project examines the past and present soundscape of Vauxhall Cross Gyratory site of the Pleasure Gardens. Vauxhall Pleasure charts the relationship between political protest and entertainment, traffic and pedestrians, pollution, breathing and song. Reinventions of Arcadian music by Thomas Arne meet with the thunderous roar of the internal combustion engine.
